ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਹਰਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥
har har kripaa dhaar gur melahu gur miliai har oumaahaa raam ||3||
O Lord, Har, Har, be merciful to me, and lead me to meet the Guru; meeting the Guru, a sincere yearning for the Lord wells up in me. ||3||
ਕਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਜਸੁ ਅਗਮ ਅਥਾਹਾ ॥
kar keerat jas agam athaahaa ||
Praise Him, the unfathomable and inaccessible Lord.
ਖਿਨੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਗਾਵਾਹਾ ॥
khin khin raam naam gaavaahaa ||
Each and every moment, sing the Lord's Name.
ਮੋ ਕਉ ਧਾਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਗੁਰ ਦਾਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੪॥੨॥੮॥
mo kau dhaar kripaa mileeai gur daate har naanak bhagat oumaahaa raam ||4||2||8||
Be merciful, and meet me, O Guru, Great Giver; Nanak yearns for the Lord's devotional worship. ||4||2||8||

Jaitsree, Fourth Mehl:
ਰਸਿ ਰਸਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਸਾਲੁ ਸਲਾਹਾ ॥
ras ras raam rasaal salaahaa ||
With love and energetic affection, praise the Lord, the storehouse of Nectar.
ਮਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਭੀਨਾ ਲੈ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
man raam naam bheenaa lai laahaa ||
My mind is drenched with the Lord's Name, and so it earns this profit.
ਖਿਨੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥
khin khin bhagat karah din raatee guramat bhagat oumaahaa raam ||1||
Each and every moment, worship Him in devotion, day and night; through the Guru's Teachings, sincere love and devotion well up. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਜਪਾਹਾ ॥
har har gun govi(n)d japaahaa ||
Chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, Har, Har.
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਜੀਤਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਲੈ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
man tan jeet sabad lai laahaa ||
Conquering mind and body, I have earned the profit of the Shabad.
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਵਸਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਓਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
guramat pa(n)ch doot vas aavahi man tan har omaahaa raam ||2||
Through the Guru's Teachings, the five demons are over-powered, and the mind and body are filled with a sincere yearning for the Lord. ||2||
ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਹਾ ॥
naam ratan har naam japaahaa ||
The Name is a jewel - chant the Lord's Name.
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਸਦਾ ਲੈ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
har gun gaai sadaa lai laahaa ||
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and forever earn this profit.
ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਧੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥
deen daiaal kripaa kar maadho har har naam oumaahaa raam ||3||
O Lord, merciful to the meek, be kind to me, and bless me with sincere longing for the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||
ਜਪਿ ਜਗਦੀਸੁ ਜਪਉ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਾ ॥
jap jagadees japau man maahaa ||
Meditate on the Lord of the world - meditate within your mind.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਗੰਨਾਥੁ ਜਗਿ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
har har jaga(n)naath jag laahaa ||
The Lord of the Universe, Har, Har, is the only real profit in this world.
ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਵਡੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤਿ ਓਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੪॥੩॥੯॥
dhan dhan vade thaakur prabh mere jap naanak bhagat omaahaa raam ||4||3||9||
Blessed, blessed, is my Great Lord and Master God; O Nanak, meditate on Him, worship Him with sincere love and devotion. ||4||3||9||

Jaitsree, Fourth Mehl:
ਆਪੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਜੁਗਾਹਾ ॥
aape jogee jugat jugaahaa ||
He Himself is the Yogi, and the way throughout the ages.
ਆਪੇ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਤਾੜੀ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
aape nirabhau taaRee laahaa ||
The Fearless Lord Himself is absorbed in Samaadhi.
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਆਪੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥
aape hee aap aap varatai aape naam oumaahaa raam ||1||
He Himself, all by Himself, is all-pervading; He Himself blesses us with sincere love for the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||
ਆਪੇ ਦੀਪ ਲੋਅ ਦੀਪਾਹਾ ॥
aape deep lo deepaahaa ||
He Himself is the lamp, and the Light pervading all the worlds.
ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸਮੁੰਦੁ ਮਥਾਹਾ ॥
aape satigur samu(n)d mathaahaa ||
He Himself is the True Guru; He Himself churns the ocean.
ਆਪੇ ਮਥਿ ਮਥਿ ਤਤੁ ਕਢਾਏ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
aape math math tat kadhaae jap naam ratan oumaahaa raam ||2||
He Himself churns it, churning up the essence; meditating on the jewel of the Naam, sincere love comes to the surface. ||2||
ਸਖੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾਹਾ ॥
sakhee milahu mil gun gaavaahaa ||
O my companions, let us meet and join together, and sing His Glorious Praises.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
guramukh naam japahu har laahaa ||
As Gurmukh, chant the Naam, and earn the profit of the Lord's Name.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੀ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥
har har bhagat driRee man bhaaee har har naam oumaahaa raam ||3||
Devotional worship of the Lord, Har, Har, has been implanted within me; it is pleasing to my mind. The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, brings a sincere love. ||3||
ਆਪੇ ਵਡ ਦਾਣਾ ਵਡ ਸਾਹਾ ॥
aape vad daanaa vad saahaa ||
He Himself is supremely wise, the greatest King.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਹਾ ॥
guramukh poo(n)jee naam visaahaa ||
As Gurmukh, purchase the merchandise of the Naam.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਗੁਣ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੦॥
har har daat karahu prabh bhaavai gun naanak naam oumaahaa raam ||4||4||10||
O Lord God, Har, Har, bless me with such a gift, that Your Glorious Virtues seem pleasing to me; Nanak is filled with sincere love and yearning for the Lord. ||4||4||10||

Jaitsree, Fourth Mehl:
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਗੁਰਾਹਾ ॥
mil satasa(n)gat sa(n)g guraahaa ||
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, and associating with the Guru,
ਪੂੰਜੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵੇਸਾਹਾ ॥
poo(n)jee naam guramukh vesaahaa ||
the Gurmukh gathers in the merchandise of the Naam.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ਮਧੁਸੂਦਨ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥
har har kripaa dhaar madhusoodan mil satasa(n)g oumaahaa raam ||1||
O Lord, Har, Har, Destroyer of demons, have mercy upon me; bless me with a sincere yearning to join the Sat Sangat. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਬਾਣੀ ਸ੍ਰਵਣਿ ਸੁਣਾਹਾ ॥
har gun baanee sravan sunaahaa ||
Let me hear with my ears the Banis, the Hymns, in praise of the Lord;
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਹਾ ॥
kar kirapaa satiguroo milaahaa ||
be merciful, and let me meet the True Guru.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹ ਗੁਣ ਬੋਲਹ ਬਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਜਪਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
gun gaavah gun bolah baanee har gun jap oumaahaa raam ||2||
I sing His Glorious Praises, I speak the Bani of His Word; chanting His Glorious Praises, a sincere yearning for the Lord wells up. ||2||
ਸਭਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਵਰਤ ਜਗ ਪੁੰਨ ਤੋੁਲਾਹਾ ॥
sabh teerath varat jag pu(n)n toulaahaa ||
I have tried visiting all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage, fasting, ceremonial feasts and giving to charities.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਨ ਪੁਜਹਿ ਪੁਜਾਹਾ ॥
har har naam na pujahi pujaahaa ||
They do not measure up to the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਤੁਲੁ ਤੋਲੁ ਅਤਿ ਭਾਰੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਜਪਿ ਓੁਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥
har har atul tol at bhaaree guramat jap oumaahaa raam ||3||
The Lord's Name is unweighable, utterly heavy in weight; through the Guru's Teachings, a sincere yearning to chant the Name has welled up in me. ||3||
ਸਭਿ ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਹਾ ॥
sabh karam dharam har naam japaahaa ||
All good karma and righteous living are found in meditation on the Lord's Name.
ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਮੈਲੁ ਪਾਪ ਧੋਵਾਹਾ ॥
kilavikh mail paap dhovaahaa ||
It washes away the stains of sins and mistakes.
ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੋਹੁ ਜਨ ਊਪਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਓਮਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥੪॥੫॥੧੧॥
deen daiaal hohu jan oopar dehu naanak naam omaahaa raam ||4||5||11||
Be merciful to meek, humble Nanak; bless him with sincere love and yearning for the Lord. ||4||5||11||
